Hliníková fólia je klasifikovaná podľa hrúbky

Hliníkovú fóliu je možné rozdeliť na hrubú fóliu, fóliu s jednou nulou a fóliu s dvojitou nulou podľa rozdielu hrúbky.
(1) Heavy gaugefoil ("ťažká meracia fólia") : fólia s hrúbkou 0,1 ~ 0,2 mm.
(2) „Fólia stredného rozmeru“ : hrúbka fólie 0.01 mm a menej ako 0,1 mm.
(3) Double zero foil (" light gauge foil ") : The so-called double zero foil is the foil with two zeros after the decimal point when its thickness is mm as the unit of measurement, usually the aluminum foil with a thickness of less than 0.01, that is, 0.005~0.009mm aluminum foil. Sometimes the thickness of ≤40ltm aluminum foil is called "light gauge foil", and the thickness of >40btm hliníková fólia je súhrnne označovaná ako „ťažká merná fólia“.
